Remember when the Burmese military staged a coup and took over the country? Well, it hasn’t been that long (February 2021), but you would be forgiven for thinking it happened years ago in today’s news cycle time warp. We sat down with Burmese human rights activist Wai Hnin to talk about the current situation, China’s relationship with Burma, also known as Myanmar, and what’s being done to remove the military dictatorship from power.
